There are loads of recipes out there for paleo oatmeal – that gives you the feeling of eating porridge for breakfast.  Here is what I ate for breakfast yesterday (experiment with quantities – those who know me realise I just throw in whatever I have to hand!)

Ingredients:

2 eggs beaten
1/2 cup almond milk
1 large banana – mashed
cinnamon to taste
pinch of salt
Approx 1/2 cup mixed nuts – blended
Approx 1/2 cup of flax seed
1 large tablespoon of almond butter

Method:

In a saucepan mix everything together & cook on a very low heat until it thickens, add more milk if necessary, forms an oatmealy type texture, I put a blob of greek yoghurt on the top, a few raspberries, strawberries & blueberries – delicious 🙂

If you have a sweet tooth, add a drizzle of pure maple syrup.
